In 2015 Shaun Davey, poet Nuala NÍ Dhomhnaill and singer Rita Connolly collaborated on a song suite to portray chapters in the life of Nora Barnacle, the wife of James Joyce. The songs, arranged for solo singer and six musicians, describe aspects of the Joyce family's sojourns in different European cities, particularly Paris and Zurich.
The suite was developed with the support of the National Concert Hall, Dublin, and first performed there on 16th June, 2015.
